Here at Wendy's Driving School you will find a warm welcome awaiting you.
We specialise in teaching nervous pupils, whether you are a 17 year old taking your very first lesson, or a 70 year old who wishes to brush up on some of the finer aspects of driving on today's busy roads.

Our Guarantee
We guarantee that every one of your lessons will be provided by a fully qualified driving instructor, approved and registered by the Driving Standards Agency (D.S.A)
Before first taking to the roads, you will need to obtain a provisional licence from the Driving Standards Agency. The forms can be obtained from any Post Office and you will need to have the licence in your possesion before you can start driving.

Once you become one of our pupils, we will issue you with a personalised Progress Record Card, which your instructor will update at every lesson. This will chart your progress and show you when you are ready to take that all important Driving Test.
We will advise you when and how to take the Theory and the Hazard Perception Test and can give you any support you need for this.
The D.S.A now recommend that all new drivers have a minimum of 40 hours tuition, preferably with a qualified instructor (A.D.I). We also recommend as much driving practice as possible in your own car as this will increase your confidence and the probability of that first time test pass!
Also remember the old adage "You get what you pay for"...scrimping on the cost of lessons can often be false economy.
Also make sure your instructor is fully qualified and insured because unfortunately there are those out there who are not.
